Shotover Jet boat

Get ready for the world’s most exciting Jet Boat ride!

Get ready for the world’s most exciting Jet Boat ride! A Shotover Jet boat ride is like nothing you have ever experienced before. It’s an adrenaline rush that you will never forget. Shotover Jet is the only Company permitted to operate in the spectacular Shotover River Canyons. It’s a thrilling ride - skimming past rocky outcrops at close range in your Shotover Jet “Big Red,” as you twist and turn throughout the narrow canyons at breathtaking speeds. A major highlight - hold tight for famous Shotover Jet 360° spins. The North Island jet boat ride is the famous Huka Jet boat which takes you to the bottom of the Huka Falls. Also a thrilling adventure with 360º spins!

Pride of Auckland Cruise

A “Pride of Auckland” lunchtime cruise or evening cruise across Auckland Harbour with this magnificent city as the backdrop is a favourite with Golden Oldies and Rugby Supporters’ groups.

No wonder is it that so many people who live in Auckland own yachts or boats?

“Our disappointments in life are often for what we haven’t done, not for what we have done!”

Quad Adventure Bikes (over 14 yrs of age)

Adventure Quad biking for over 14 year olds is a real favourite adventure activity available in both the North and South Islands of New Zealand.

Adrenalin packed adventure riding over hills, rough country, through rivers and mud.

All trips are subject to weather conditions and age restrictions. No pillion passengers or children.

Protective helmet, boots, gloves and jacket are supplied.

Bungy Jumping
New Zealand bungy jump - the first in the world.

Dare to try it or maybe just watch others?

Another “kiwi” adrenalin packed activity.

Take the video home to prove you did it!

“The Tee shirt too!” Bungy jumps available North and South Islands of new Zealand.
Dolphin and Whale Watching

New Zealand is a wonderful place for nature and wildlife. Swimming with the dolphins is a favourite with all groups as is whale watching.

As we travel through the Kaikoura coastline in the South Island, keep a watch for whales, dolphins, seals and abundant sea life and birdlife. These can also be seen often if you are crossing between the North and South Islands on the Interisland ferry.

There are plenty of opportunities to swim with the dolphins. The Bay of Islands in the far north is famous for this.

These are only a few of the activities available for you to do in New Zealand whilst on your rugby tour. Please contact New Zealand Rugby Tours for professional and reliable advice as to which activities may suit your group.

Some activities (such as bungy jumping) you may wish to include in your itinerary as an optional extra for those who may wish to give it a try! Other chosen activities you may wish to include for the complete group.
